According to the regional government, 451.5 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in the region since the beginning of the year, which is 1.4% higher than the figure for the same period last year. As part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," the region is implementing 12 federal projects.

It is noted that the region has been approved an infrastructure loan, which is planned to be used to modernize the boiler houses in the town of Slobodskoy and convert them to gas. Work will be carried out in stages in 2025–2027. A concessionaire is currently being selected.

The meeting also reviewed the progress in implementing comprehensive territory development projects. Forty-two such projects have been approved in the region, and work has begun on 40. In 2025 the region received 170 million rubles in federal funds, with which Anzheliya Mikheeva Street in the Urvantsevo microdistrict was commissioned. Construction continues on a 260-place kindergarten on Torfyanaya Street.

Planned for 2026–2028 is the construction of two more kindergartens. In addition, under Comprehensive Territory Development (KRT) agreements, the reconstruction of Pesochnaia Street, the construction of 4th Pyatiletka Street in the Chistye Prudy microdistrict, and Dmitry Kozyrev Street in Urvantsevo are envisaged. Developers are currently preparing design and estimate documentation.

Other areas were also discussed at the meeting. The fourth stage of the improvement of S.M. Kirov Park has been completed in Kirov, and the city park has been upgraded in Yurya. The progress of restoration work being carried out by the Kirov region in the Veselovsky district was also discussed.

It should be noted that the regional budget draft for 2026–2027 provides for significant investments in the development of educational infrastructure. About 3 billion rubles are expected to be allocated to the construction of three schools and the equipping of five more.

It was reported separately that in 2026, as part of the federal program "Modernization of School Education Systems," major renovations of 18 schools will take place in Kirov. More than 655 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. Procurement to select contractors is planned to be held by the end of the year.
