The head of the administrative department of the Kirov administration was awarded at the Kremlin.
On November 27 a ceremony was held in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin to present state awards to representatives of local self-government bodies from various regions of the country. On behalf of the president, the awards were presented by the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Sergey Kiriyenko.
According to a decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the title "Honored Worker of Local Self-Government of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Nadezhda Torkhova, the manager of affairs of the Kirov administration.
The administration notes that Torkhova has worked in the local self-government system of the Kirov Region since 1988. She took part in forming the electoral system, developing the municipal service, and creating local self-government bodies in the Pervomaysky District. According to the press service of the Kirov city administration, under her leadership in the Pervomaysky District from 2011 to 2024, 262 winning projects of participatory budgeting competitions were implemented. The total amount of funds attracted exceeded 215 million rubles.
