In May 2025, employees of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region found an unauthorized waste dump in the settlement of Murygino. On a plot of about 480 square meters there were construction debris, tires, bumpers, wood waste, and waste left after cemetery cleanups. During the inspection it was established that the garbage had been brought to the site by the administration of the Muryginskoye urban settlement. Meanwhile, by law municipalities are responsible for eliminating unauthorized dumps and restoring land plots to their original condition. However, the settlement administration did not comply with these requirements. Consequently, the ministry filed a lawsuit in the Yuryansky District Court seeking to compel the municipality to remove the dump and restore the plot.
