On October 9, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Directorate for the Kirov Region, Udmurtia and Perm Krai inspected a batch of 1,536 blueberry seedlings brought from Belarus. No violations were found during the inspection of the documents or the examination of the transport.

Together with experts from the Kirov branch of the FSBI “VNIICR,” samples were taken for laboratory testing to determine the quarantine phytosanitary status of the plants. The examination found no harmful organisms.

Based on the laboratory’s conclusion, a quarantine phytosanitary control certificate was issued, permitting the use of the seedlings as intended. Since the beginning of 2025, almost 6,000 seedlings have been imported into the Kirov Region from Belarus.
