Poles were erected along Moskovskaya Street.
In Kirov, street lighting has been installed on the section of Moskovskaya Street from the Dymka sports complex to the Sadakovsky settlement. A total of 25 poles with 100 W LED luminaires have been installed.
According to Andrey Domrachev, deputy head of the Directorate of Improvement for Electricity, the lighting is especially relevant due to the construction of a new school and the active development of the Metro and Metrograd microdistricts, where the flow of traffic and pedestrians has increased.
This year work is also underway on sections of the Kirov–Russkoye road: equipment has already been installed in the Sadakovsky settlement, the villages of Overintsy and Kolobovshchina, on the Kostino–Pestovy roads and up to the village of Charushiny. By December it is planned to equip lighting in the villages of Balezinschina and Pershino, the selo of Russkoye and the settlement of Kostino.
The directorate clarified that part of the work is being carried out by a municipal institution, while the bulk is done by contractors. An upgrade of special machinery and the purchase of new integrated equipment are planned, which will reduce the costs of carrying out the work.
