A female resident of Kotel'nichsky District was fined for unidentified pigs.

In the Kotel'nichsky District the owner of a private household farm was held administratively liable for failing to comply with an order from Rosselkhoznadzor. This was reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Kirov Region, the Udmurt Republic and Perm Krai.

On September 22, the agency's specialists conducted an unscheduled inspection of the farmstead of a resident of the village of Rodichi. The inspection visit was coordinated with the Kirov Region Prosecutor's Office and was carried out to check compliance with an order issued on September 5, 2024.

During the inspection it was found that the owner of the homestead had not remedied the violations of veterinary requirements. The farm is not fenced off, which does not rule out the entry of unauthorized people and animals, including wildlife. The walls and partitions of the pigsty are made of wood that is not resistant to the effects of disinfectants. In addition, four pigs were unregistered and unidentified — they lacked ear tags.

Following the inspection the woman was fined under part 8 of Article 19.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for failure to comply with a lawful order. Rosselkhoznadzor issued a new order to remedy the identified violations.
