Repair work is underway on the Kirov–Udmurtia border highway.
The Ministry of Transport reported road repair works on the Kirov — Kirovo-Chepetsk — Zuevka — Falenki — Udmurtia border highway. The works began on October 8 and are being carried out on the section from kilometer 8 to kilometer 11 of the route — from the Kharlamovsky overpass to the bridge over the Prosnitsa River.
On the section, rutting and pavement damage are being repaired. The asphalt surface is being leveled, ruts are being filled with crushed stone or asphalt concrete, after which a protective layer is applied across the full width of the road. Alternating traffic is in place for the duration of the repairs.
