The contractor dismantled Lenin's "entourage."

      According to the city administration’s press service, the contractor has already completed the dismantling work and the installation of new support structures. The laying of the concrete base at the monument is currently being finished, as is the installation of the exterior lighting: cables have already been laid and poles ordered.

      Recall that in mid-September the old surface around the Lenin monument was removed and work began to prepare for the laying of the concrete base, onto which Dymovsky granite will later be secured.

      The improvement works are planned to be completed by January 30, 2026. The funding amounts to 44 million rubles. However, earlier the first deputy head of the administration, Dmitry Pechenkin, ordered the contractor to speed up the pace of work so that it would be finished before the end of the construction season.
