A new head of the transport police has been appointed in Kirov.
A new head of the transport police was introduced in Kirov. The head of the Kirov linear department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Transport is Police Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Yuferev.
Yuferev was born in 1983 in the settlement of Leninskoye in the Shabalinsky District. He holds a higher legal education and has served in the internal affairs bodies since 2007. He began his career as a district police officer in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov Region.
Since 2009 he worked as an operative officer in the criminal investigation department. In 2015 he was appointed deputy head of the criminal investigation division of Police Department No. 2.
Yuferev has served in the Kirov linear department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Transport since 2019. At first he headed the criminal investigation division, and in 2024 he became deputy head of the linear department. During his service he has been awarded state and departmental honors.
