      The most common scams:

Calls with “profitable” offers. Scammers pose as SFR employees and promise a pension increase, recalculation of payments, or help in correcting “errors.” To arrange this they ask for bank card details, SNILS, or SMS codes.

Messages in messaging apps. Citizens receive a fake notification about an allegedly due payment or benefit. To receive it they are asked to follow a link, which may lead to the installation of malware and the theft of personal data.

“Cashing out maternity capital.” Scammers persuade people to exchange maternity capital funds for cash. As a result, the family loses the right to the payment and becomes an accomplice to illegal activities.

      How to protect yourself:

Never disclose personal data, card details, or SMS codes.

Do not follow suspicious links and do not forward documents via messaging apps.

Use maternity capital funds only for lawful purposes.

Verify all information on the official SFR website or by calling the hotline.

The SFR emphasizes: fund employees never call to offer to arrange payments by phone.
