Kirov Oblast is actively preparing for the single voting day, which will take place on September 14. Residents of the region will elect deputies across 14 electoral campaigns. A total of 138 mandates will be filled in these elections, including 131 in the main campaigns and seven in additional ones. In addition, 15 local referendums will be held. Fourteen of them will take place in the Malmyzhsky District, and one in the Kiknur District. On election day, 13 territorial and 160 precinct election commissions will be in operation. A total of 78,960 voters will be eligible to participate in the elections. As of August 15, 332 candidates have been nominated in the region. 327 people are registered. Among them are 138 representatives of the United Russia party, 38 from the Communist Party (KPRF), 28 from A Just Russia, 28 from LDPR, 1 from the Party of the Revival of Russia, 15 from New People, and 79 self-nominated candidates. Among the registered candidates, 45.28% are women and 54.4% are men. By age, the distribution is as follows: 11.07% of candidates are younger than 36, 66.45% are between 36 and 60 years old, and 22.48% are older than 60. Registration was denied to four candidates.
