Since the beginning of the year, after connecting to a new well, the houses have been receiving poor-quality water. There is no other source of drinking water in the settlement. Local residents repeatedly contacted the utility company and various authorities, but were unable to improve the water quality. Media reports about the situation prompted investigative authorities to become involved. The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region organized an investigation. Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a report on its results and put the execution of the order under control.
