Drunk accident on the highway and teenagers on a motorcycle: 23 people injured over the weekend in the Kirov region
From July 25 to 27, 15 road traffic accidents occurred in the Kirov region, resulting in injuries to 23 people, according to the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
In the early morning of July 25, in Verkhoshizhemsky district, a driver without a license on a VAZ 2110 veered off the road and overturned on the Kirov–Sovetsk–Yaransk highway. A 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, were injured.
On July 27, in Kirov on Bolshaya Street, a 22-year-old juvenile riding a "Progasi" motorcycle, also without a license, collided with a Peugeot driven by a 62-year-old pensioner. As a result, the minors (a 17-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger) sustained injuries.
Later that evening, in Kotelnichsky district, on the Vyatka highway, a 34-year-old intoxicated driver in a Škoda veered into a ditch. He and two passengers, men aged 32 and 34, were injured in the accident.
