According to Governor Alexander Sokolov, a group of children from one family is currently in one of the orphanages in Kirov. The older sister is essentially forced to act as the head of the family. Vice Prime Minister Svetlana Shumaylova noted that officials are now searching for a family willing to take all these children so as not to separate brothers and sisters. She said there are already several options. Sokolov asked for financial assistance for the family that decides to adopt, and also expressed the opinion that children should not be separated.
