Oleg Valenchuk: The connection between generations will never be broken!

The author of the idea, inspirer, and organizer of the exhibition is Galina Buzanakova. She spent her entire life working at Kirov School No. 37 and the Vyatka Humanities Gymnasium, teaching Russian language and literature, and is a teacher of the highest category, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. After retirement, she returned to her native homeland but could not sit at home idly. Galina Vadimovna organized the museum "Here the Birth of a Feat," dedicated to Alexander Vaganov and other compatriots who heroically defended the Motherland and worked on the home front. The exhibition is also the fruit of her many years of painstaking work, a result of close cooperation between the school in Rojdestvenskoye and the local community, which united children, parents, and active villagers.

      – The idea of the exhibition was inspired by the project "Gardens of Memory," which originated on Vyatka land and, thanks to the support of State Duma Deputy and President of the Russian Gardeners' Union Oleg Valenchuk, spread across the country, – said Galina Buzanakova. – And today, without the material support of Oleg Dorianovich and his understanding of the importance of patriotic education, the exhibition would have remained just an idea.

Everyone at the opening was able to see that this is not just an exposition of photographs and documents – it is a deep and touching story about the contribution of an ordinary Vyatka village to the Great Victory, based on real stories of people.

Visitors saw stories of specific families: letters from the front, military photographs, documents of awards and losses. Here, not only the feats of soldiers are immortalized, but also those of their widows, who raised worthy children alone, with their tears, prayers, and daily work bringing Victory closer. The exhibition shows their lives, achievements, and tragedies... It is a true living portrait of the people's feat.

The exhibition also lays the foundation for understanding the valor of modern Russian soldiers participating in the special military operation. The organizers drew a parallel between the heroism of past years and the courage of today’s defenders of the Motherland, fostering patriotism and respect for history among the younger generation.

      – This wonderful exposition demonstrates that victory was forged not only on the front but also in the rear, where people through heroic work provided the army with everything necessary, – noted Oleg Valenchuk. – A deep bow to Galina Vadimovna and all the residents of the village for your painstaking work of preserving historical memory. Your community efforts help instill the best human qualities in young souls: honesty and kindness, love for the Motherland, and its great history. And this means that the connection between generations will never be broken!
