A resident of Kirs killed a man.
On July 25, the police were notified of the discovery of the body of a 46-year-old man with signs of violent death in an apartment on Zavodskaya Street in the city of Kirs. A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). Investigators, together with police officers, managed to identify and apprehend the person involved in the murder. The suspect is a 43-year-old resident of the Verknekamsky District of the Kirov Region. On July 24, the man, intoxicated, was in an apartment on Zavodskaya Street, and during a verbal quarrel, he inflicted several blows to the victim's head, neck, and left arm with a stabbing tool, intending to kill. The man died at the scene. The suspect is charged with a particularly grave crime. He is currently in custody. Necessary investigative and procedural actions are underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as to gather and secure evidence.
