According to Deputy Prime Minister Svetlana Shumailova, five libraries are planned to be modernized in the region by 2025, which will be opened as model centers. They will appear in Vyatskiye Polyany, Sanchursk, Zuevka, Yurye, and Omutninsk. The total funding amounts to 68.7 million rubles. The opening of new libraries is scheduled for September.
Additionally, this year work is being carried out on the major renovation of several cultural institutions, including the Afanasyevskaya Central Library, the Falen Regional Museum, the River House of Culture in Kumen District, and the Orichevsk Children's Music School. Technical re-equipment is also ongoing at the Vyatskopolyansky Historical Museum. The total amount of funds will be nearly 197 million rubles.
