The law on increasing fines for going out on thin ice was adopted in the first reading
As we wrote earlier, the bill proposes to dramatically increase fines for violating safety regulations on water bodies, in particular for going out on thin ice. They will amount to 30 to 50 thousand rubles for citizens, from 50 to 80 thousand rubles for officials, and from 100 to 250 thousand rubles for legal entities.
Some deputies expressed doubts that there would be enough people in the region to monitor all violators, catch and fine them. Nevertheless, the bill was passed in the first reading during the voting.
