      According to the service, teenagers from the Kirov region aged 14-18 are experiencing significant difficulties when looking for work. Moreover, their salary expectations are growing faster than the willingness of employers to hire underage employees.

      There is a high activity of young applicants in the region: more than two thousand teenagers have updated their resumes. The following areas became the most attractive to them:

      sales and service (16% of the total number of resumes each)

      working specialties (15%)

      logistics and transport (14%)

      catering and hospitality (9%)

      administrative staff (6%)

      financial aspects.

      The study showed that the main motivation for 81% of teenagers is the desire to get extra pocket money. At the same time, there is a significant gap between expectations and reality.:

      Median salary expectations increased by 12% (from 26,500 to 29,800 rubles)

      . More than half of the available vacancies offer salaries below 25,000 rubles.

      44% of teenagers face fundamental rejection by employers due to their underage age.

      There is a significant gap between the requirements of employers and the actual skills of teenagers. The most in-demand hard skills were:

      order delivery (61% of vacancies)

      navigation skills (58%)

      Internet search (56%).

      Among soft skills,

      stress tolerance (78%)

      teamwork (72%)

      rapid learning (68%)

      problems of different age groups are in the lead.

      By the way, difficulties with employment do not end with reaching the age of majority. For example, young professionals aged 18 to 24 often have difficulty finding jobs (38%). 35% are afraid of failure at an interview, 44% are afraid of deceiving employers, and 27% do not know how to present themselves properly.

      Some experienced workers also have problems finding employment. Specialists aged 25 to 34 note an increase in demands with constant salaries, and 28% of employees aged 35-44 face age discrimination.
