Warranty inspection of roads and sidewalks has begun in Kirov

      In Kirov, they began checking the condition of roads and sidewalks repaired as part of national projects over the past four years. All facilities are under warranty, and the commission, which includes representatives of the landscaping directorate and contractors, is actively checking their condition.

      Today, experts are examining seven sites, including Orlovskaya Street, where sidewalks and roads were repaired last year. Special attention is paid to transverse and longitudinal cracks, damaged curbs and destruction of asphalt concrete. All identified deficiencies are recorded in the act and sent to contractors, who are required to eliminate them at their own expense by June 20.

      During the inspection of Orlovskaya Street, a problem was fixed with damaged curbs that broke as a result of equipment operation in winter. There have also been cases of poor-quality restoration of the coating after excavation work.

      This year, 232 sites are to be inspected in Kirov. All examinations will be conducted daily throughout April. Next up is a tour of Gostiny Pereulok, Spasskaya, Pristanskaya, Gorbachev, Pyatnitskaya and Cooperative Streets. The total length of the checked objects is more than 3 km.
