In Kirov, inspections of the condition of roads repaired during the previous four years have begun. All the checked objects are under contractor's warranty. A commission consisting of representatives of the landscaping directorate and the companies that carried out the work has been formed to carry out the inspections.
Special attention is paid to identifying defects, such as cracks in asphalt, destruction of the roadway and sidewalks, the condition of curbs and the correct installation of wells. Deficiencies are included in the examination report. Today, the commission examined seven facilities, including Orlovskaya on the section from Lenin to Vodopodnaya, where repairs were carried out last year.
Curbs were found on Orlovskaya Street, damaged, presumably, by machinery that was used for winter maintenance of roads. In addition, the facts of poor-quality restoration of asphalt after excavation were recorded. In such cases, work will be carried out to identify responsible persons who will have to eliminate violations.
The drawn-up acts will be sent to the contractors who repaired the sites. They will be required to eliminate all defects at their own expense by June 20. A total of 232 sections of roads and sidewalks are planned to be surveyed this year. Inspections will be carried out daily throughout April.
