
The water level in the rivers of the Kirov region has risen to 80 centimeters.
According to the agency, over the past day, the rise in water levels in the rivers of the Kirov region ranged from 1 to 80 cm. Ice flow is observed on the Vyatka River in the area of Arkul and Vyatka Meadows, as well as on the Voya, Bystrica, and Kilmez rivers.
Ice movement is taking place on the Vyatka River in the Kotelnich area, on the Pizhma and South rivers. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region reported that the Svyatitsa, Urzhumka, Suna, Nemda rivers and some sections of the Vyatka River were completely freed from ice. The ministry also noted that to date, no flooded settlements have been registered in the Kirov region.
Recall that on March 30, the Vyatka River opened up from the ice near the Green embankment. According to eyewitnesses, the ice on the river cracked, but it did not move that day.
