More than half of the new sidewalks in the Kirov region will be built in Kstinin.
The longest section will appear in the village of Kstinino — over three kilometers, the regional transport ministry reported. The contractor is currently conducting earthworks to prepare the foundation for future pedestrian zones in Kstinino of the Kirovo-Chepetsk district.
In the Sanchursky district, road workers are forming the foundation for sidewalks in the village of Sanchursk and the village of Gorodishche — laying and compacting the sand layer. At the same time, they are creating pull-in bays for public transport and bus stops where bus pavilions will be installed.
In the village of Isupovy in the Verkhoshizhem district, construction and installation work has already been completed: the sidewalks and bus stops are ready. In the near future, the contractor will begin landscaping the adjacent area and installing outdoor lighting lines.
The quality of materials and compliance with standards are monitored by the regional Road Committee in conjunction with local administrations. The full range of work at all sites is to be completed by the end of the road season.
