In the Afanasyevsky District, a woman stabbed her partner during a New Year's Eve gathering.

      As the police reported, the incident occurred during the New Year holidays in one of the houses in the Kamsky settlement. During a joint drinking session between cohabitants a conflict arose. During the quarrel a woman born in 1977 grabbed a knife and stabbed a man born in 1988 once in the abdomen. Some time later the suspect realized what had happened and reported the incident herself to the police on duty. An ambulance crew was called for the victim. The woman was detained and taken to the police department. A criminal case has been opened against her under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
