According to laboratory monitoring data, both influenza and non‑influenza viruses circulated in the region over the past week. Among the influenza strains detected, the A(H3N2) virus continues to predominate. Rospotrebnadzor noted that the current epidemiological situation regarding influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in the Kirov region is assessed as stable and under control. Residents of the region are urged to follow preventive measures: wash their hands more often, avoid contact with sick people, ventilate premises, and seek medical help at the first symptoms.
