A court restored the right to payments for the family of a Kirov resident who went missing during the special military operation.

The father of the little girl from Kirov took part in a special military operation and went missing in September 2024 while carrying out combat missions. Because there was no official confirmation of his death, his relatives could not exercise their right to state support measures.

The girl's mother, acting as her legal representative, sought help from the prosecutor's office. To protect the family's rights, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit asking the court to recognize the legal fact of the missing serviceman's death.

The court granted the prosecutor's claim. Once the decision takes effect, the serviceman's wife and 4‑year‑old daughter, as well as his mother and sister, will be able to receive all social benefits and pensions provided by law.
