The Kirov Ministry of Health commented on the situation with the "To the Doctor" service.

No changes are planned to the operation of the regional appointment-booking service "K vrachu" in the Kirov region. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health after media reports emerged claiming that, from December 20, authorization on the portal would allegedly become possible only via the "Gosuslugi" portal.

The ministry explained that the requirements presented as a "new measure" have long since been implemented in the Kirov region. The regional "K vrachu" service was originally integrated with the federal "Gosuslugi" portal.

The service has been operating in the region for three years and remains one of the most in-demand among patients: this year residents of the Kirov region made about 670,000 appointment bookings through it. The platform allows users to book appointments with specialists at various medical institutions, submit requests on behalf of family members, request a doctor to visit at home, and use other digital features.

"Information about a switch to a new type of authorization is not accurate and may mislead residents of the region. For patients in the Kirov region there are no changes — booking and access to the service are carried out as before via a personal account on the 'Gosuslugi' portal," emphasized Kirov Region Minister of Health Ekaterina Vidyakina.

It should be noted that a mandatory transition to authorization via ESIA is being introduced only in certain federal subjects, in particular in Perm Krai.
