Seven new platforms have appeared in Kirov Oblast.
As part of the development of suburban services, the Gorky Railway commissioned seven new platforms in Kirov Oblast in 2025. Two platforms were built at the stops Sovetskaya and 1189 km, and one each at the stations Chepetskaya, Lomovskaya and Slobodskoye. New shelters protecting passengers from rain and snow were installed at the stops Lugovaya and Sovetskaya. The asphalt surfacing was also renewed at the stops 1146 km, Kordyaga, Latyshsky, 792 km, Dizmino, Lomovskaya and Zeleny (901 km). Additionally, pedestrian bridges over the railway tracks were modernized at the stations Orichi, Balezino and at the stop Oktyabrsky (1177 km).
