The man said that in recent years the village of Goloviznintsy, located just 15 kilometers from the city, has become very popular with Kirov residents seeking to build their own homes. This place, formerly part of agricultural land, is now being actively developed. Low prices and proximity to the regional center have made it attractive to those choosing to live outside the city. With the start of plot sales, private housing construction intensified.
However, as the number of houses grew, problems began to arise. One of the main ones was insufficient infrastructure. The roads shown on maps did not meet any standards. Many residents encountered difficulties getting around, especially in winter. Ambulances, like other essential services, often could not reach those in need.
Residents' hopes for positive change emerged in 2022. At that time, under a municipal contract, the road was repaired by a contractor. But high traffic and a large number of heavy trucks carrying building materials quickly rendered it unusable. They were unable to obtain warranty repairs, and today residents patch potholes at their own expense.
Oleg Valenchuk invited the head of the Pasegovskoye rural settlement, Amur Petelin, to the meeting, who explained that district authorities recognize the need to repair the road and are already working on solving the existing problems. He assured that in the spring, as soon as the weather permits, the contractor will restore the road surface under warranty obligations.
“Goloviznintsy, once a quiet village, is today turning into a dynamic community attractive to young families,” noted Oleg Valenchuk. “Dreams of owning a home, of owning land where you can grow environmentally clean food products, are becoming a reality for them today. But without a proper road such settlements cannot develop. And this is already a matter for local authorities. Funds for repairing dirt roads are now provided for in municipal budgets. I will keep this issue under personal oversight, and in the summer we will definitely check the quality of the repairs.”
