Irregularities in food documentation were found in Kirov kindergartens.
From January 1 to November 26, 2025, specialists from the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Kirov Region conducted an inspection of food products delivered to socially significant institutions. It was found that in 14 institutions documents for dairy, fish and meat products were recorded late, sometimes several days after delivery. Thus, at kindergarten No. 153 in Kirov, from September 1 to November 17 there were 116 veterinary accompanying documents (VADs) for 591 kg of products that were invalidated with delays of 1 to 5 days. At kindergarten No. 5 in the same period, 286 documents were invalidated 3–5 days after receiving nearly 3 tonnes of products. The press service of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Kirov Region said that such violations hinder full control over food safety and contradict veterinary rules and the Law "On Veterinary Medicine." On November 24, 2025, warnings were issued to the institutions found at fault, requiring strict compliance with the rules for issuing and invalidating veterinary documents upon acceptance of products.
