The prisoner received a new sentence for displaying Nazi tattoos in the penal colony.
The Investigative Committee for the Kirov Region has completed its investigation into a criminal case against a convict serving a sentence in one of the region’s correctional colonies. The man was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 282.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public display of Nazi symbols committed by a person previously subjected to administrative punishment for an administrative offense).
According to the Investigative Department, in July 2025 the man, while in a correctional colony in the Omutninsky District, showed other inmates prohibited tattoos depicted on his body. He had previously been held administratively liable for similar actions.
The criminal case was opened based on materials provided by the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region and the regional branch of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The court, having considered the case, imposed a new term on the convict. Under the aggregate of sentences he will spend 10 months in a maximum-security penal colony.
