A plot near the Staromakaryevskoye Cemetery will be leased for the construction of a shopping center.

      The Kirov authorities have announced an auction for the right to conclude a lease agreement for a land plot located on Pavla Korchagina Street, near the intersection with Slobodskoy Trakt and the Staromakaryevskoye Cemetery. The permitted use is commercial facilities (shopping and entertainment centers). The area is more than 30.6 thousand sq. meters.

      The starting price for concluding the agreement is 8.19 million rubles. The lease term is 10 years and eight months. The auction has already started; it will run until December 16, and the results will be announced on the 19th. The auction increment is 5% of the starting price, or 408 thousand rubles.

      Note that buildings no higher than five storeys are permitted on the plot. The maximum site coverage is 50%. It is also worth noting that there is a forest on the plot, the total value of which is 23 million rubles. If a developer cuts it down, they will have to pay that amount and obtain a felling permit from the administration. Another difficulty for the developer is that a fairly large part of the area floods in spring.
