Late on the evening of November 15, a conflict occurred in an apartment on Fizkulturnikov Street in the city of Kirov among a group of six young people. While drinking alcohol, an argument broke out between two young men over personal animosity. The 23-year-old man took a kitchen knife and inflicted no fewer than three stab wounds to the chest of a 22-year-old Kirov resident. Paramedics arrived promptly at the scene. They called the police and provided the necessary assistance to the victim. Law enforcement officers detained the suspect and took him to the police station.
Investigative Department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kirov has opened a criminal case under paragraph 3 of part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm with the use of a weapon).
