      Today at a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly the draft budget of the Kirov Region for 2026–2028 was considered. According to it, next year revenues will amount to 113 billion rubles, expenditures — 115.7 billion rubles, and the deficit — 2.7 billion rubles.

      Sixty-two percent of all funds will be allocated to the social sector. Support measures in 2026 will total 14.3 billion rubles, in particular “child” payments — 5.7 billion rubles, and payments to participants in the special military operation (SMO) and their families — 1.9 billion rubles. More than 30 billion rubles will be spent on education (including repairs to 14 kindergartens, 47 schools and three technical colleges; construction of three kindergartens; completion of construction of three schools; and equipping five schools). Seventeen billion rubles will be allocated to healthcare. Two billion rubles to sports. PPMI — 380 million rubles. The road fund in 2026 will amount to 16 billion rubles. Funds, albeit less substantial, are also provided for the development of rural settlements. 2.5 billion rubles will go to the modernization of communal infrastructure. Mamaev added that he would not support the bill.
