In the Uninsky District, a family had to wait almost a year for decent housing.

      A prosecutor’s inspection found that the house on Zhelvakova Street in the urban-type settlement of Uni had been declared unsafe and scheduled for demolition as early as September 2024. A family of three — the applicant, his wife, and their son — lived there under a social tenancy agreement and was immediately registered as needing adequate housing. However, the municipal district administration failed for a long time to take any measures to provide the family with new accommodation. The prosecutor’s office lodged a submission with the head of the district, citing a violation of citizens’ housing rights. After the submission was considered, the situation began to move forward. As a result, the family received new adequate housing to replace the unsafe dwelling.
