Mishustin has been asked to freeze fuel prices.

"I propose that the government introduce a moratorium on raising the price of gasoline until October 1, 2026, and that the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia strengthen control over pricing and retail markups at chain gas stations." A document with this content was sent to the head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, by State Duma deputy Sergey Mironov.

The deputy noted that, according to Rosstat data for January–October of the current year, gasoline prices rose by 10.16%. And for the partial month — from September 1 to 29 — gasoline on average increased by 2.48%. In October the rise in fuel prices continued, which became one of the factors accelerating annual inflation. "Experts point to an unprecedented gap between wholesale and retail prices. For example, on the St. Petersburg Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange in early October the price of AI-92 gasoline exceeded 74 thousand rubles per ton, AI-95 — more than 79 thousand rubles per ton, and this sends a clear signal to retailers to further raise prices at gas stations," the parliamentarian noted.

It should be recalled that in Kirov the price of fuel at gas stations is rising every week. Thus, last Tuesday, November 11, the price of a liter of AI-95 "Euro" gasoline increased by 8 kopecks to 65 rubles 34 kopecks. Note that the previous time the price per liter of 95 rose by 9 kopecks. In October gasoline also rose every week, but at higher rates — by 20, and even by 35 kopecks per liter at a time.
