Has Tadjibaev disappeared without a trace?

According to acquaintances of Andrey Abdukayumovich, who turned 57 this past August, after signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense he volunteered for the special military operation in May:

"He didn't hide that after leaving his post as editor-in-chief for 'not exactly personal' reasons, debts had appeared, the repayment of which became highly doubtful on his 'civilian salary.' He planned to settle the loans with the enlistment bonus and the monthly payments a fighter receives."

According to a former comrade-in-arms, Tadzhibaev went to the theatre of operations in May. He didn't travel by train but likely hitched a ride with a humanitarian convoy's transport:

"Of course, they tried to talk him out of it: war is for the young, and he was, after all, older and his health was acting up. But he said that acquaintances in Rostov, probably former traffic police (GAI) colleagues, would help him get a 'comfortable' posting. How 'comfortable' his service as a drone operator was, only God knows, but he wasn't fighting in an assault brigade and wasn't on the front line. Very soon — within two, at most three, weeks — he stopped making contact. Roughly speaking, there had been no word from him since June."

As clarified at Tadzhibaev's former department, they believe the ex-comrade was officially declared missing in mid-October. But they continue to hope for a positive outcome: perhaps wounded or captured, and that he will make contact soon.

However, according to what they established through 'their channels', there was allegedly a direct shell hit on the deployment site.
