The federal highways of Kirov Oblast will be transferred to Rosavtodor’s Kazan subsidiary.

As has become known, the federal roads of Kirov Oblast will be transferred to the management of the FSI "Volgo-Vyatka Upravtodor" in Tatarstan. The decision was made as part of a large-scale reorganization of Rosavtodor’s territorial structures. Previously, Kirov’s highways were overseen by the FSI "Uprdor Prikamye", which was also responsible for maintaining federal roads in Perm Krai, Udmurtia and Komi. According to an order from the Russian Ministry of Transport, "Uprdor Prikamye" will be disbanded and its functions redistributed among other units, including the Sverdlovsk-based "Uralupravtodor" and the Kazan-based "Volgo-Vyatka Upravtodor". All organizational measures are planned to be completed by September 1, 2026. This was reported by Kommersant.
