A pair of "zakladchiki" were convicted in Kirov.
According to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region, at the end of February officers of the department for control over narcotics trafficking detained a 33-year-old man with a prior conviction and a 35-year-old woman. They were suspected of organizing stash drops of narcotic substances.
During operational activities, the police found 10 stashes containing a powder which, according to expert analysis, proved to be the narcotic α-pyrrolidinovalerophenone (α-PVP). During a search of the detainees' apartment, packages with the same substance intended for personal use were also seized.
The investigation established that the Kirov residents had contacted via the internet an unknown "curator" who offered them work as "stashers" — collecting wholesale batches of drugs and placing them in individual stash locations for buyers. The suspects agreed, aware of the illegality of their actions.
In February 2025 the pair managed to carry out some of the tasks, but the day after their latest drop they were detained by officers of the Department for Control over Narcotics Trafficking. The seized drugs were submitted to the case as physical evidence.
Both defendants pleaded guilty and cooperated with the investigation. After the investigation was completed, the case was sent to the Pervomaisky District Court of Kirov, which found them guilty under Articles 30 and 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted sale of narcotic substances in large and significant quantities, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).
The verdict has entered into legal force.
