Simakov confirmed a change in management at the Food Plant.

      Recall that rumors recently emerged that Dmitry Kuzmin, the acting head of the Department of Municipal Services, is highly likely to head the MKU "Food and Social Catering Combine."

      Today, at a meeting of a Duma committee, Vyacheslav Simakov, the head of the administration, was asked whether the leadership at the "Combine" is indeed changing. He confirmed the information.

      Simakov did not name the new director, but during the discussion it emerged that it is indeed Kuzmin. Interestingly, not everyone supports his candidacy.

      Deputy Denis Erokhin expressed doubt that someone who has been in charge of municipal services would be able to establish effective operations in such a challenging position. He also reminded those present that the "Combine" has already had leaders who made various promises — for example, to bring the enterprise to self-sufficiency — and then disappeared without fulfilling their promises. Whether the same will happen this time is unclear.
