Temperatures in Kirov are expected to rise to +10°C.
According to the forecast, after 22 October daytime temperatures may rise to +10°C, and nighttime to +5°C. Brief frosts are possible on some days.
According to observations, the first half of October in Kirov was warmer than the climatological norm. The average temperature was +6.3°C compared with a norm of +5.2°C — a deviation of +1.1°C. Precipitation was below normal: 31 mm versus a norm of 69 mm, i.e. about 44% of the monthly value. The lowest air temperature was recorded on 4 October (−0.8°C), and the highest on 8 October (+16.1°C).
According to the GEFS long-term forecast, by the end of the month a persistent positive temperature anomaly of 4–6°C above normal is expected across European Russia, including Kirov Oblast.
