Recently, officers of the regional hunting supervision, with the participation of a hunting rights holder and the veterinary service, carried out an operation to rescue a moose from a snare, the Ministry of Environmental Protection reported.
The animal had somehow become caught in the snare and prevented people from getting close to it. Veterinary service personnel were brought in to extract the moose from the snare. Thanks to their swift and coordinated work, the moose was freed and was able to return to its natural habitat.
