On the night of October 16, in Novovyatsky District, on the "Raduzhny Settlement Bypass" road, a 42-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Polo struck a 49-year-old woman. The pedestrian sustained injuries.
Another incident occurred that evening in the Leninskaya Iskra settlement of Kotelnichsky District. According to the department, a 46-year-old driver of the same model car — a Volkswagen Polo — hit a 16-year-old female pedestrian. The girl was also injured.
Investigations are underway in both cases to establish the causes and circumstances of the incidents.
