Pavel Dorofeyev became the head of the LDPR's regional branch.

Pavel Dorofeev said that one of the key tasks is "to preserve and grow the team": "The plans are to unite the team. The team in LDPR is friendly and I would like that with my arrival the team becomes even more united. In addition, we plan to attract new people to the team." Another priority is increasing the activity and recognition of the regional branch: more media appearances, an increase in the number of initiatives and bills, and an expansion of citizen reception practices.

The political goal of the new coordinator is to prepare for the major elections next year. According to Dorofeev, the plans include strengthening LDPR's position in the region, "increasing the number of seats" and the aim "to become the second party and the main opposition," including a fight for a place in the State Duma.

Incidentally, there had previously been rumors that the position of head of the regional branch costs as much as 30 million rubles. Dorofeev also commented on this information. In his words, he had not heard of such demands; he was recommended from Moscow, and no payments for his appointment were offered. As confirmation — support from the party's federal leadership.
