Residents of Kirov shared what they give teachers on Teacher's Day and how much they spend on it.

      The majority of Kirov residents have a positive attitude toward Teacher's Day (53%): 21% love this holiday, 32% like it. A neutral position is held by 44% of respondents. A negative attitude toward the holiday is virtually absent (3%).

      Women more often reported loving and having a positive attitude toward the holiday than men; men were more likely to adopt a reserved stance. People under 35 are significantly more likely to be neutral toward the holiday, and the older the residents, the more often they demonstrate a positive attitude.

      Most graduates of colleges and technical schools are indifferent to the teachers' professional holiday, while most respondents with higher education view it positively.

      The average amount classes will spend to congratulate the homeroom teacher is 2,900 rubles.

      The most common gift remains flowers (62% of respondents). Bouquets are often complemented with gift certificates (22%) and sweet baskets (19%). Envelopes with money (9%) and stationery (6%) are given much less often. Other gift options mentioned included cosmetics and perfume, theater tickets, books, and equipment and electronics for the class.
