Starting in October, salaries for public-sector employees in the Kirov Region will be raised.
According to the document, as of October 1, 2025, payroll funds will be increased by 7.6% through budgetary appropriations. The indexation will affect not only salaries and wage rates but also compensatory and incentive payments. An exception will apply to certain categories of employees whose indexation is regulated by the regional government's resolution of February 3, 2025 No. 35/48. The document clarifies that: the Ministry of Finance of the Kirov Region must provide for the necessary expenditures in the budget, including funds for interbudgetary transfers to pay the wages of employees of municipal institutions; the principal administrators of budgetary funds are obliged to adjust the payroll funds in subordinate institutions; local governments are recommended to carry out a similar indexation of the salaries of municipal institution employees also from October 1 by 7.6%. The resolution has already entered into force.
