The Gorky Railway will increase the number of services during the holidays. Additional trains No. 231/232 "Kirov–Moscow" will depart Kirov on October 31, November 2 and November 4 at 02:11 and arrive in the capital the same day at 14:08. In the opposite direction the trains will leave Moscow on the same dates at 21:25, with arrival in Kirov scheduled for 10:00 the following day.
The route includes stops in Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir.
The Gorky Railway notes that the Kirov–Moscow route remains consistently popular with passengers: in January–August 2025 nearly 200,000 people used it, which is 0.1% more than last year's figure.
