In Kirov, they have begun clearing fallen leaves from the streets.

The Directorate of Improvement reported that leaves are being collected in low-lying stretches of streets and in pedestrian areas: they are either swept onto the lawn or taken to waste disposal sites. "We are monitoring the weather forecast, as frequent precipitation is possible. As part of routine operations we flush storm drains and communications, carry out repairs of drain channels, manholes and road surfaces. We are actively preparing the city for winter," said Deputy Head of the Directorate of Improvement Maxim Egorov.

According to JSC Gordormoststroy, 50 pieces of equipment and 120 manual workers are involved in cleaning in Kirov every day. Contractors remove about 70 cubic meters of waste per day, the bulk of which is foliage. A handheld vacuum cleaner is actively used to clean pedestrian areas.

The Directorate of Improvement emphasized that contractors' work is monitored daily. Supervisors record violations and, if they are not remedied, contracting organizations face fines. In addition, complaints and messages from Kirov residents submitted via social networks and through Gordormoststroy's Unified Dispatch Service are reviewed promptly.
