The KChKhK branch has completed preparations for the heating season.

      The plant’s divisions are supplied with heat by an on‑site industrial heating boiler house. In addition, the KChKhK branch supplies heat to a number of other facilities located near the enterprise. Therefore, the preparations concern not only the heat consumption systems but also its production and distribution.

      Preparations for the heating season began even before the end of the previous season, starting in April with the development of a preparation plan and a list of tasks aimed at maintaining the serviceable condition of equipment, utilities, buildings and structures. These include inspections, defect rectification, network preparation, testing and flushing. A commission involving specialists from the divisions, the chief power engineer’s department and the construction department checked the readiness of the divisions for the heating period, including the condition of insulation, pipelines, thermal insulation materials, instruments and documentation.
