Oleg Valenchuk: Together we are a force that no one can defeat!
The purpose of the event was to raise funds to purchase materials for weaving camouflage nets, so necessary for the safety of our fighters taking part in the special military operation.
Preparations for the fair began long before the scheduled date. Its holding was supported by State Duma deputy and chairman of the Union of Gardeners of Russia, Oleg Valenchuk. The organizing effort included the “For Vyatka” foundation’s representative office in Sovetsk, the Sovetsk care home, toy maker Oksana Vylegzhanina, the Veterans’ Club, as well as the private households of Galina and Igor Kasyanov and Tamara Lelekova. Products for the fair came from various localities: the villages of Kichma, Vasilkovo, Zashizhimye, Mokino, Ilyinsk, and the hamlets of Lesnikovo and Vasichi.
Visitors to the fair were able not only to purchase a variety of goods made with love and care, but also to take part in engaging master classes and enjoy a concert program featuring performances by the “Silver Dewdrops” ensemble and the Veterans’ Club soloist Inna Lutoshkina. Those gathered gladly took part in contests with prizes from the Union of Gardeners of Russia.
Thanks to joint efforts, funds were raised to purchase spunbond fabric, from which volunteers’ skilled hands will make the camouflage nets.
“Helping the heroes of the special military operation is our sacred duty,” Oleg Valenchuk said. “Our immense gratitude goes to our tireless women workers for their kind hands that ceaselessly do good, for your hearts that weave hope, for your evenings given up for the sake of others’ lives. Together we are a force that no one can defeat!”
The results of the “Harvest Festival 2025” contest were also announced at the fair. Winners were awarded certificates and valuable gifts from Oleg Valenchuk.
